To my Husband.....

To my incredible Husband:
The love that I thought couldn't possibly grow anymore doubled when Little Austin was born and continues to grow everyday when I watch you with him. I Had no idea what my heart was missing before I met you, nor did I know that love like this really existed. Thank you for picking me to do life with and thank you for giving me this beautiful baby boy.

Little A

{for Daddy...whose referred to him as "Super Baby" since conception}

Austin Jairl Dowell II

November 25th after a long week of prodromal labor....our sweet Little Austin made his appearance. Austin took 2 weeks off from work, and one of those weeks was spent walking, laying around, eating spicy food and a whollleeeee LOT of pineapple. We walked about 16 miles that week...I wore holes on the insides of my favorite leopard boots (the only shoes that fit) from walking so much. He was born at 3:37 p.m. on a Sunday and weighed 7 Lbs. & 11.5 oz. he was 21 1/4 inches long. He had a short NICU stay (48 hours) so he could be monitored and given antibiotics for some breathing issues.
We are all so in love with this little boy!!!
{this is what pregnancy misery looks like}

{and this....made it all worth it.}

End of summer Georgetown Trip!!

I'd have to say that the highlight of our Summer this year was our 4 day trip to visit Granny and Gee (Austin's Parents) in Georgetown. They live in Sun City and the kids were AMAZED by the Deer walking around in the yards!!! While we were there, we took lots of walks around the subdivision (seeing Deer), went to Trader Joe's, played LOTS of board games with Granny and Gee, swam, Toured Inner Space Caverns, Went to UT campus so kids could see where Austin went to college, went to Round Rock Donuts, visited The Bob Bullock Texas History Museum, Ate lots and Lots of yummy food, took the kids to see Stevie Ray Vaughan statue at Town Lake and spent Much needed time together as a Family.

Lots of fun memories!!
